A regularly run mindfulness and self compassion courses throughout the year in Glossop, Manchester and over Zoom.
Many people try mindfulness and think its not for them but I am passionate about helping as many people find ways to use mindfulness, even those that have struggled before.
After delivering a wide variety of self help services for mental health charities, I have developed this accessible and easy course that helps people fit mindfulness into every day life. It also draws on my experience of delivering wellbeing courses and includes information about the causes and management of common mental health problems to empower all participants to take control of their mental health.
I always run small groups, usually around 10-12 people and offer a safe and caring environment for people to learn new mindfulness and self compassion skills.
On my courses you will learn:
- The science behind why mindfulness and self compassion is effective for our mental health
- Causes of common mental health problems and why mindfulness and self compassion are vital for good mental health
- Easy, practical practices to be more mindfulness and self compassionate in every day life
- Understanding why body and breath awareness is important for managing stress and anxiety
- Dealing with difficult feelings and situations with acceptance and compassion
